We as a country should be able to decide what the U.S government gets involved in. Being able to focus on problems within our country before trying to fix things in other country's.

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…2yrs2Y

If we decided wars by direct democratic means, we’d just ignore every conflict, not a good idea.

 @92GWCNC from Indiana  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but remove the U.N. headquarters from the U.S. Build a basketball arena in its place. Tear down Maddison Square Gardens. Finally rebuild the original Penn Station.

 @B5B3B8Q from Indiana  answered…2mos2MO

Yes at this time but more information is needed about the global role of the UN and its abilities to hold nations accountable.

 @B2HZGM6 from Indiana  answered…6mos6MO

Yes and actually respect it as we should follow international order plus do reforms like getting rid of special privileges for certain countries

 @9SPWFP7 from Indiana  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, but remove the U.N. headquarters from the U.S. Build a NBA basketball area in it's place. Teardown Madison Square Gardens, and rebuild the original Penn Station.

 @9S5NLJC from Indiana  answered…11mos11MO

we shouldn't spend money on foreigners,only spend money on our own people,foreigners have no rights in our country

 @9RFM9RF from Indiana  answered…12mos12MO

Yes, but adhere to the original goals and make a concerted effort to not look for increasingly smaller and smaller problems, especially social matters that could be worked out without UN involvement

 @9Q4WPCP from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

The US should remain, HOWEVER, all those that are part of the UN should contribute an amount based on population. While the US contributes substantially more, the US also provides more of everything. There’s a point when a trade-off should take place in all facets of assistance/aide. Seems that when the US has catastrophic events, we don’t see much side from others. There should at least be export agreements in place for those that may nt have the financial resources, but may indeed have exports to barter with.

 @9NTZF7CIndependent from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

The charter of the United Nations should be subject to review, as many countries represented are cross purposes to the mission.

 @9LVXD8XSocialist from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

yes but the US (and other western countries) should not have absolute veto power against anything they disagree with.

 @9LM6V4S from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

No, and remove the U.N. headquarters from the U.S but if we stay use the UN peacekeeping forces to protect our interests.

 @9LK9ZFP from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but scale back our current involvement or use the forces for our interests as long as they don't listen to us.

 @9JXSQ2X from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

The U.S. has too much sway over the United Nations. Despite the UN’s policies, it’s not done enough to help people, even in cases of genocide.

 @9JPZCF4 from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

I think they should remain because peace is good and it would create bad energy between the United Nations and the US, but we should definitely stop throwing the US head first into war.

 @9HM2M3KIndependent from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but motivate the U.N & countries within to abide by the treaties & law’s & agreements agreed on.

 @9GMB2BHRepublican from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8XWKS5SIndependent from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

the united nations is a useless organization that allows palestinians to continue being oppressed so doesnt matter if the us is in it or not

 @8XH56DM from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but needs reform. I think the idea of enforcement mechanisms would be a good reform to enforce international law against countries that traditional break it like the US. Plus the UN might need to shift power more equally instead of giving all the power to the big 5

 @8X63YQJ from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

I think we should stay in the U.N., but permanently move out of the anti-Semitic Human Rights Counsel and not be afraid to criticize the Palestians.

 @8X4LJ5G from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8WW82VK from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but we should be more vocal about our concerns, mainly about favorability towards China, who has caused multiple global concerns. We need to work towards getting China to listen to the agreements.

 @8WSGFYN from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

No and yes we should expand I don’t like the idea of there being multiple countries it should all be one large state everything else can stay the same. We need to stop fighting and find a solution for peace and solve global warming and world hunger!!!

 @8WGBV92 from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8W2GX4S from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

 @9CNCQRV from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y

The U.S. should remain apart of the U.N. as maintaining connections with other countries are important. Since the majority of humanity deserves a chance and shouldn't be limited by race, culture, or ethnicity. Which are still controversial in the U.S. and the world.

 @9CJJJ55 from Indiana  answered…2yrs2Y
