A start declared illegally and that had no borders. Seems to me that Americans can't go pontificating to Europeans on this issue. If the US really believes in a two-state solution, which of course it doesn't, then not to recognise those two states is somewhat odd don't you think?

You clearly understand neither the history of the region nor the legal basis behind establishment of Israel ( same legal basis as was used to establish all post-ottoman states in the Middle East )
