How does the arrest of spies on a military base impact your sense of national security and trust in international relations?

 @9LN69FX from Georgia answered…2wks2W

On one hand, it simply shows that the military bases are able to snuff out and neutralize spies. On the other, it may show that their recruitment process may be too inclusive.

Makes me have some fear as to who is a spy in the country, not just in Germany but on the homeland.

 @9LN5WM9  from California answered…2wks2W

it makes me feel unsafe and untrusting of the us government for letting a spy into such an important place. dont reply to this, this is for a class

 @9LMWQF6commented…2wks2W

I wouldn't want to know we are doing things so concerning that we have spies from different places trying to figure out what's going on over here, and frankly I'd feel safer if they didn't have a reason to spy to begin with.

Should individuals suspected of spying for a foreign government be treated differently than other criminals in the justice system?

Do you believe that spying on allied countries is ever justified, and under what circumstances, if any?

 @9LN9HLLRepublican from Pennsylvania commented…2wks2W

Yes it is definitely justified, our allies are some of the strongest nations in the world and if we start trusting them completely they will take advantage of it and take control.

 @9LMVYBZ from Ohio commented…2wks2W

Ive learned that this world is cruel and you can't trust anyone also if they plan to hit someone else with an attack it could disturb the peace

What do you think motivates someone to become a spy, especially in situations that could endanger their homeland's safety?

 @9LMSPVF from Illinois commented…2wks2W

This makes me wonder what the enemy has to offer that would sway a person who is trained and probably so deep-rooted in the patriotic sense of America. This leaves me feeling a little scared of what we don't know.

 @9LMR253commented…2wks2W

I think that they usually do it to protect their country and whatever information that another country may have so they become spies to make sure that they don't get put into danger if that ever were to happen because important information was leaked

• Vlad Putin understands war.

• Bibi Netanyahu understands war.

• Volodymyr Zelenskyy is learning about war.

• Joe Biden knows nothing about war.

• War is about encouraging the enemy choose surrender over suffer. Vlad is schooling the world in making the enemy suffer.

 @L3gislatorAlForwardfrom California commented…2wks2W

Stunning how nearly the whole world underestimated Putin. I grew up in Germany during the Cold War, a country divided by a wall and fence, because of communists. I hate communism, and sadly this appears to be worse than the 60s/70s Cold War

 @AgileConstitutionVeteran from New York commented…2wks2W

That's very much likely the case, considering that hundreds were expelled from various European capitals and cities on the past 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine and they're still discovering more.

How would you feel if someone from your country was accused of spying for another country?
