If my beliefs are so utterly baseless and absurd and reactionary, why is it so difficult for you to disprove them? And why do you use logical fallacies whenever you attempt to do so?

Well for starters, Hitler still cited the left as his enemy, held no tenets of socialism, despised minorities, sought to bring a “glorious past” back to existence (it never existed on the first place), and got along extremely well with some of the most far right dictators on earth. I’m tired of having to explain the clear-as-day obviousness that Hitler was NOT a leftist

Nor was he a rightist, as he did not agree with economic liberty in any way, shape or form. He was a centrist dictator of sorts, but definitely more left than right.

How are you defining "left" vs "right"..? And is your argument solely using an economic scale? If someone was an economic centrist, but was socially and politically far-right, would you still consider them "moderate but not right-wing"? What exactly are you basing your "right-wing" vs "left-wing" positioning on?

Additionally, what do you consider "economic liberty"? Because I would argue that right-wing economics are NOT in favor of economic liberty, since capitalism (a fundamentally right-wing economic system) has an inherent and…  Read more

Right-wing people support economic liberty but are in general more willing to see the government spy on its civilians via unconstitutional surveillance, and some rightists subscribe to an interventionist foreign police. Left-wing people support economic tyranny with a massive regulatory bureaucracy but are in general less willing to see the government spy on its civilians, and originally many supported a policy of peace and non-intervention, though sadly this has wavered away in recent years, especially under the current warmongering occupant of the White House, who has sent billions to Ukrai…  Read more

Economic liberty does NOT equal right. You are putting economic liberty and the right as a synonymous thing, yet neglect the fact that things such as market socialism and far-right fascism most definitely exist. The definition you use doesn’t stick with most any definition of “right”.

It's not. It's actually incredibly easy to disprove many of your claims. Your refusal to accept contradictory evidence is not anyone else's problem. Heck, remember months ago when you and I had a long discussion about evolution vs creationism (along with the reality of anthropogenic climate change), and your claims were so wildly incorrect and absurd that even this site's bot accounts from the Republican Party and other right-wing groups had stepped in to point…  Read more

I wasn't talking to you

You don't need to be, this is an open online forum. Not to mention the fact that this is in my own thread. But hey, if you don't have a response then you can just say so...

I never said an argument couldn't be logically sound and false at the same time, so here YOU are using the Strawman Fallacy by putting words in my mouth I never said and debunking a position I never took. You keep also using the Question Begging Fallacy by claiming that my arguments were "wildly incorrect and absurd" when in reality this has not been proven or even established, assuming I'm wrong in order to argue that I'm wrong.

PS: You actually believe there's some right wing conspiracy on this webpage to water down leftism through "bots"? If anything, the reverse is true – look at the daily discussions, almost everyone's a leftist.

lol ah nothing like a good ol' "tHeY hAD sOciALiSm iN ThE naMe" argument to show a complete lack of critical analysis. Sure seems odd that it's only far-right groups today that fly the Nazi flags and advocate for openly white-supremacist nationalism, but I'm sure that's entirely unrelated /s. I wonder if he thinks that the North Korean State, the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea", is a real democratic people's republic, since...ya know...it's in the name, and apparently States would never name themselves something nice that appeals to the public despite not at all actually being that nice thing, right? Because that would just be silly /s.

I mean really, if they were using socialism as a platform to gain the people’s trust, that just shows that people actively WANT socialism, they were just severely misled.
