In an ideal world, war would become obsolete. But our differences are far too emphasized for some humans to look past them.

The way that I see it, the majority of conflict in the world is driven by systemic injustices. As all people world-wide are granted access to clean-water, food, housing, means to a secure and happy life, and the basic respect each individual deserves regardless of race or religion, war can absolutely become obsolete.

While the allocation of resources will become obsolete with more advanced technology there will always be war over political and religious beliefs.
