Abolish the deep state, fire 85 percent of the federal government, abolish the welfare state, withdraw from all foreign wars, end the fed, return to the gold standard, abolish abortion, restore state's rights, and institute congressional term limits.

 @9K57WHYSocialist  from Oregon  commented…1yr1Y

"Abolish" is strong term. What consequences do you predict from these actions? Do your opinions of what is right for you make it right for everyone?

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington  commented…1yr1Y

The consequences of my plan include a return to constitutional, minimal government, the abolition of the Welfare-Warfare Empire of Lies, increased individual liberty, peace, prosperity, Christianity, and free markets. Welcome to the America the Founding Fathers envisioned.

  @Renaldo-MoonGreen  from Pennsylvania  commented…8mos8MO

Your words make the founding fathers roll in their graves.

  @@1876-Elbert from Colorado  commented…7mos7MO

I have seen many of your arguments. If @Patriot-1776's do, the fathers are doing cartwheels at yours.

#1 Engaged First Amendment

How can Christianity be involved in the government, when the first amendment states "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion"? That seems to clearly say that the US should have a state religion. Or I could be misunderstanding it, Im not exactly the smartest person in the room normally.

 @7ZNSCC2Libertarian from California  asked…12mos12MO

How do you reconcile the belief that the only sophisticated and highly effective part of the government is secretly trying to undermine you and the rest is incompetent? Have you examined the physiological implications of those beliefs?

 @9J2Z7GT from Louisiana  answered…1yr1Y

Make all colleges the same price and under 10k a year in total cost.

 @9J488FWIndependent from Indiana  agreed…1yr1Y

I don't know if this would be appropriate for private colleges. But, maybe put a cap on tuition for publicly funded schools and other costs like books and supplies. Higher education costs are in a runaway. Everyone deserves to better themselves.

 @9J2Z8KSDemocrat from Nevada  answered…1yr1Y

If someday I held significant political power, I would make sure that everyone is treated with equality and respect, I would also focus on gun control and women's rights.

 @9J3B4WK from Georgia  agreed…1yr1Y

Those three issues mentioned in the response are some of the most talked about issues in America. Personally, I feel as though they are the issues in the need of improving on the most.

I would make abortions legal 110% because everyone should have the right to choose what happens to them

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…1yr1Y

Switch to a ranked voting system, destroy the electoral college, ban corporate lobbying, publicly fund elections, ban superPACS, congressional term limits of 4, 2 year terms, enhance climate change prevention measures, invest heavily in nuclear energy, solidify joining the Paris Climate Agreement, speed up the process of immigration at the border, fix the spending waste issues in the military, TAX. THE. RICH, make a maximum cap or renters homeownership, go directly after Blackrock, enact Gavin Newsom’s 28th amendment (common sense gun laws across the board), reform to a fair progressive tax, fund Ukraine and lower funding for Israel, along with publicly condemning them for an extreme amount of civilian casualties.

 @9MH6GJD from Virginia  commented…1yr1Y

So you support a militant terrorist group that is to blame for starting all this? This is urban warfare, civilian casualties will happen no matter what. I blame Hamas because they purposefully dig tunnels under the city of Gaza and blame Israel for the casualties when in fact Hamas hides among civilians and under their homes.

 @9JFWZ3KIndependent from Texas  disagreed…1yr1Y

EVERYBODY would pay flat income tax so EVERYBODY would have a skin in the game and "pay their fair share." Yes, that includes the poor people. If they are gonna vote, then they need to be smart voters. Smart and independent voters who can think for themselves are the enemy of the political establishment both on the left, and on the right and that's what this country desperately needs.

Reading some replies here, I want to slap your parents, your school teachers and your college professors because they all failed you.

Here's what I would do:

Build a wall on the Mexican border, get rid of almost all federal departments (DOJ, DOE, DOA), make abortion on the same level as murder, lower taxes by a ton, give the states more control, cut federal spending by a ton, reduce government regulation in the economy, and cut Medicate and Obamacare.

 @ModernMadison76 from Virginia  commented…9mos9MO

Oh, also stand your ground laws, and highly reduce gun purchase restrictions.

 @9J2Z37FRepublican from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

i would fix systems that were broken, foster care and child services, funding for rehab programs

  @Renaldo-MoonGreen  from Pennsylvania  commented…8mos8MO

Abolish the electoral college and switch to a popular voting system.

Increase the funding for Ukraine

Cut all aid and support of Israel and hold them accountable for their war crimes.

Remove hate speech from free speech and increase penalties for it.

Improve anti-discrimination laws to protect all minorities.

Make taxes actually fair by taxing the rich more and the poor less

Make a simple path to immigration and abolish the immigration test

Make abortion legal and easier to get.

Allow minors to receive gender transitioning treatment without parent consent once they're 16

Pet projects and more

Fix state borders to match the geography and topography.

Fix the flag code so that every flag looked like the American flag, except for the canton, or command Nevada, et al, to redo their flags to be as appealing as Maryland, Texas, Alaska, et al.

Hire libertarians to reform the tax code and republicans to oversee the reformation, because taxes shouldn't need 500 forms but gov't can't run on charity.

Send the military to the border until immigration is fixed. Punish Mexico until they fix their tiny southern border with Belize and Guatemala.

Defund the FEDERAL department of education, so the states can compete for the smartest high school.

Defund preborn slaughter houses, to start with.

Breakup the political parties to encourage binary coalitions, rather than parties.

And more.
