One of the most ridiculous and laughable things I've ever seen is sanctimonious US and British sports journalists criticizing athletes and sports leagues for doing business with Saudi Arabia.

These people seemingly have no clue how the world works. But they become geopolitical "experts" the minute geopolitics starts to creep into their sports.

It’s incredible. The PGA went after competing golf league LIV and said they are dishonoring 9/11 families. A few months after, they embraced Saudi backed league, when it made financial sense to do so. No apologies to the people they publicly attacked

Exactly. All of the corrupt media attacks stopped the day the PGA and Liv got married financially. Just like the attacks on the NFL AT exemption stopped once they gave Comcast the red zone channel. It's always about the $$$ and the corrupt media helps apply pressure when needed.
