I respect the admiration conservatives have for Ron DeSantis running for president

Hes youthful, educated, resembles previous presidential candidates, has conservative values. But he does not align with my beliefs. Yes, I am a moderate democrat but there are more reasons I oppose Ron DeSantis other than him being on the other side of the political spectrum. There are flaws about him. Some believe that he would lead the republican party in a new direction, but he still holds the same values trump did. He also overextends his religious values in his policies as governor. There is nothing wrong with being guided with some morals and religious values in your politics, but you need to create a boundary between religion and politics and that seems to be the reason why there are some religions that are hated mostly because others believe political beliefs represent a religion which is not true. I am a Christian, but I try to create that boundary between religion and politics while still holding a certain level of values within my political ideology.

If Ron Desantis were to change the way, he initiated his policies and came more to the center then I would not be so critical of him.
