How would the world change if sustainable practices were a subject taught from kindergarten through high school?

 @9T9FPQT from Iowa  answered…9mos9MO

I think it would we a big game changer especially looking at just the amount of litter and things I see at my highschool.

 @9T9FL93No Labels from Michigan  answered…9mos9MO

I think that if we were better taught about climate change as children, it would be easier for us to build sustainable habits in our lives, as opposed to making large changes later on in life.

 @9T9FBYM from Nevada  answered…9mos9MO

I believe that future generations will be able to keep things longer and keep themselves up

 @9T9F8MFRepublican from Texas  answered…9mos9MO

Our children would have more sustainable practices become part of their normal lives.

How would the disappearance of a species you love affect your views on biodiversity conservation?

 @9JD5NJQ from New York  answered…1yr1Y

It wouldn’t change anything. We can’t change the natural happenings in Mother Nature. Jesus did it for a reason.

 @9JJWSHW from Texas  agreed…1yr1Y

There is always a cycle in the world of nature, species die, more come. lands change the animals adapt or die, and so on and so forth. Yeah we can do something to an extent but in the end what nature wants, nature gets.

 @9JD67TWWomen’s Equality from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

It would most likely affect my views. It's not a natural thing if humans are causing it with unnatural manners. I would get more involved in biodiversity conservation if this happened.

 @9JD659X from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JD653JConstitution from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

If we lost tigers I would see the biodiversity conversation as a weak thing. If they are suppossed to protect how are they letting this species go extinct so easily.

How does the concept of 'reduce, reuse, recycle' manifest in your everyday life?

 @9L2NDKL from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

If I can still use it, I will continue to until it no longer works.

 @9L2Q232 from Texas  agreed…1yr1Y

I try to use everything to its limit so I know I'm getting the best out of my money instead of wasting things that are almost gone.

 @9L2QLYB from California  answered…1yr1Y

all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy.

 @9L2MQPV from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

I am very supportive of engaging in sustainability to help fight environmental issues

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

If you could travel through time, what period would you visit to observe sustainability practices, and what would you hope to learn?

 @9JD8DH8 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I would visit the Abraham Lincoln era to observe the Civil War, slavery, and everything Lincoln accomplished as the first Republican president.

 @9JFBMKF from Tennessee  disagreed…1yr1Y

I think that, even if time travel were a possibility, it would be ill-advised. I also think that we can get plenty of information on Lincoln's actions as president from the internet. If I had to travel back in time, there would be other times I would rather travel to than the Civil War era, as well.

 @9JD7Q63Republican from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

I would want to go back to 1776 to see the Declaration of Independence and learn about it and see all the rights in person.

 @9JD7XDQWomen’s Equality from Kentucky  answered…1yr1Y

I would go back to like early china or the 1800s to see how they did things and how people reacted in the 1800s to like oil and stuff.

 @9JD844YDemocrat from Connecticut  answered…1yr1Y

I would visit the 1970s to get a deeper understanding of how different times were then.

How could a popular video game incorporate sustainability issues in a way that's fun and educational?

 @9JD67Z7 from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

make an ideal world of what could be and hope it influences the minds of younger influences

 @9JD6NSZ from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

Make a video game where you get to choose different things in the world and after you choose something it tells you what would happen and you would have to choose all of the “right” things to finish the game. Make an ideal world so young people have a good idea of the future

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

If you were to inspire a friend to make one sustainable change, what would it be and why?

 @9L2QFF5 from Georgia  answered…1yr1Y

I would ask my friend to pay more attention to what goes on in the world outside them, especially when it pertains to companies with a long history of polluting the environment, like oil companies.

 @9L3MGD4Democrat from Maryland  agreed…1yr1Y

The concept of the "individual carbon footprint" was deliberately invented by oil companies to shift blame for environmental problems. You can push back on this by prioritizing system change over individual behavior change.

 @9L2Q232 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

I would inspire my friend to stop leaving the lights on in their room when they aren't there or to turn off the water when brushing their teeth to preserve energy and water.

 @9L2P8CW from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

 @9JD9MCQcommented…1yr1Y

It shows how modern the building is, and I would make the building in a way so everyone that uses it is in ease.

 @9KCQ67G from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

it should limit how often and requirement of “updated technology” to have a certain amount of updated features in a few categories so new phones arent coming out with nonsense updates on a phone

How do you feel when you see a company advertise its 'green' practices, and do you think it influences customer behavior?

 @9KCQHQW from Oregon  answered…1yr1Y

I think that companies should properly advertise their "green practices" but shouldn't emphasize them if they still are damaging the environment in any way. I think it influences customers into believe they're helping the planet even if the company itself doesn't actually do that.

 @9KCQ47N from Missouri  answered…1yr1Y

I think it is fake and the climate change is fake and emissions should be illegal.
