You believe in preserving resources and ecosystems for future generations to ensure a healthy and thriving planet.
Sustainability as a political ideology is a relatively recent development, emerging prominently in the late 20th century. It is centered around the idea of creating and maintaining conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, supporting present and future generations. This ideology is often associated with environmentalism, but it also encompasses economic and social dimensions.
The roots of sustainability as a political ideology can be traced back to the environmental movement of the 1960s and 1970s, which brought attention to the negative impacts of indu…

How would the world change if sustainable practices were a subject taught from kindergarten through high school?
@9T9FPQT9mos9MO
I think it would we a big game changer especially looking at just the amount of litter and things I see at my highschool.
I think that if we were better taught about climate change as children, it would be easier for us to build sustainable habits in our lives, as opposed to making large changes later on in life.
@9T9FBYM9mos9MO
I believe that future generations will be able to keep things longer and keep themselves up
@9T9F8MFRepublican9mos9MO
Our children would have more sustainable practices become part of their normal lives.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How would the disappearance of a species you love affect your views on biodiversity conservation?
@9JD5NJQ1yr1Y
It wouldn’t change anything. We can’t change the natural happenings in Mother Nature. Jesus did it for a reason.
@9JJWSHW1yr1Y
There is always a cycle in the world of nature, species die, more come. lands change the animals adapt or die, and so on and so forth. Yeah we can do something to an extent but in the end what nature wants, nature gets.
It would most likely affect my views. It's not a natural thing if humans are causing it with unnatural manners. I would get more involved in biodiversity conservation if this happened.
@9JD659X1yr1Y
Would show me the government isn’t doing enough for the environment
@9JD653JConstitution1yr1Y
If we lost tigers I would see the biodiversity conversation as a weak thing. If they are suppossed to protect how are they letting this species go extinct so easily.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How does the concept of 'reduce, reuse, recycle' manifest in your everyday life?
@9L2QLYB1yr1Y
all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy.
@9L2MQPV1yr1Y
I am very supportive of engaging in sustainability to help fight environmental issues
@9L2N8CS1yr1Y
get things that are not just a one time use, like waterbottles.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you could travel through time, what period would you visit to observe sustainability practices, and what would you hope to learn?
@9JD8DH81yr1Y
I would visit the Abraham Lincoln era to observe the Civil War, slavery, and everything Lincoln accomplished as the first Republican president.
@9JFBMKF1yr1Y
I think that, even if time travel were a possibility, it would be ill-advised. I also think that we can get plenty of information on Lincoln's actions as president from the internet. If I had to travel back in time, there would be other times I would rather travel to than the Civil War era, as well.
@9JD7Q63Republican1yr1Y
I would want to go back to 1776 to see the Declaration of Independence and learn about it and see all the rights in person.
I would go back to like early china or the 1800s to see how they did things and how people reacted in the 1800s to like oil and stuff.
I would visit the 1970s to get a deeper understanding of how different times were then.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How could a popular video game incorporate sustainability issues in a way that's fun and educational?
@9JD67Z71yr1Y
make an ideal world of what could be and hope it influences the minds of younger influences
@9JD6NSZ1yr1Y
Make a video game where you get to choose different things in the world and after you choose something it tells you what would happen and you would have to choose all of the “right” things to finish the game. Make an ideal world so young people have a good idea of the future
@9JD6KD31yr1Y
Take place in a world built on sustainability to show kids how to help
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you were to inspire a friend to make one sustainable change, what would it be and why?
@9L2QFF51yr1Y
I would ask my friend to pay more attention to what goes on in the world outside them, especially when it pertains to companies with a long history of polluting the environment, like oil companies.
@9L2Q2321yr1Y
I would inspire my friend to stop leaving the lights on in their room when they aren't there or to turn off the water when brushing their teeth to preserve energy and water.
@9L2P8CW1yr1Y
I would advise the "friend" to recycle and sustain and conserve resources such a as water and electricity by turning them off when they aren't being used.
It would be to stop using unsustainable palm oils because it causes harm to the environment
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
If you had to represent sustainability in an art project, what would you create, and what message would it convey?
@9JD7RLP1yr1Y
I would do recycling, I would love to show everyone how important it is for the community and environment to be in a healthy state not just for humans but for nature and animals
@9JD8CPQ1yr1Y
i would make a representation of a globe on fire and warn people about climate
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
What is one habit you could change to live more sustainably and why haven't you changed it yet?
@9HGR66RRepublican2yrs2Y
Renewable energy. I haven't change because of the cost.
@9HGRZHW2yrs2Y
Reduce the use of plastic forks. Plastic utensils are too convenient
@9HGR5GF2yrs2Y
I want to use less water, but hot showers are therapeutic.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What's the most challenging aspect of convincing others to adopt more sustainable behaviors?
@9L2MB5N1yr1Y
They tend to prefer mental stability over sustainability
@9L2KNT61yr1Y
The issue with convincing people to have a more sustainability would be a difficult goal to set amongst a dozen of dis
@9KSBVXG1yr1Y
People think climate change isnt going to effect us and don't realize the impact it has on us and animals now and into our future. People do not take it seriously.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How would you feel if your favorite product was discontinued for being unsustainable?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How would the way you use technology change if the devices were powered by clean energy sources only?
@9KCQ67G1yr1Y
it should limit how often and requirement of “updated technology” to have a certain amount of updated features in a few categories so new phones arent coming out with nonsense updates on a phone
@9KCPWFR1yr1Y
It would not care about clean energy because there is more probloms
@9K8QJWX 1yr1Y
Buy using clean energy less smoke to destroy plaistic and start making a product that will be safe for the enviorment and solar system health.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
When buying something new, do you consider its environmental impact, and how does it influence your choice?
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
In what ways might sustainable living benefit not only the environment but also your own health and well-being?
@9H5NW34Women’s Equality2yrs2Y
It makes everything better all together. We should care about the healthiness of our environment because it's what keeps us alive, while also having the ability to kill us.
@9H5NP5R2yrs2Y
decreased risk for diseases and cleaner water and eating.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What does a sustainable future look like in your favorite video game world, and how could that be achieved?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do you feel when you see a company advertise its 'green' practices, and do you think it influences customer behavior?
@9KCQHQW1yr1Y
I think that companies should properly advertise their "green practices" but shouldn't emphasize them if they still are damaging the environment in any way. I think it influences customers into believe they're helping the planet even if the company itself doesn't actually do that.
@9KCQ47N1yr1Y
I think it is fake and the climate change is fake and emissions should be illegal.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What changes have you noticed in your local environment over the years that could be related to sustainability issues?
@9HY6579Independent1yr1Y
People not recycling properly, and taxes going up because of different departments the government is trying to upgrade, etc.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What emotions do you feel when you learn about or witness the destruction of natural habitats, and how does that motivate you to act?
Sad and angry and it makes me extremely conscious of my environmental footprint
@9JFC4PJ1yr1Y
it makes me sad because In the future things will be **** ed up for the youth
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What would it feel like to restore a local damaged habitat, like a polluted river or deforested area, and what impact would it have?
@9JBR85Q1yr1Y
I believe that this would impact our society a lot. If our government were to slowly begin restoring damaged habitats, we could slowly begin addressing bigger environmental problems.
@9JBR6V21yr1Y
It would definitely be a lot of work, but the long-term impact of that area will definitely be positive.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do you react to news about species extinction, and what do you think you could do to help?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What would you include in a time capsule to demonstrate today's sustainability efforts to the future?
@9L2JZRHRepublican1yr1Y
A poster showing a cat hanging from a tree with "Hang in there!" written on it.
@9L2JHRJ1yr1Y
Reusable water bottles, paper strawa, tote bags, etc.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How do conversations about carbon footprints and personal impact on the environment make you feel?
@9L2K3S2Libertarian1yr1Y
I don't really care for it and would probably not get involved in the conversation
Good, I’m glad it’s being discussed more seriously.
@ISIDEWITH2yrs2Y
How do you think future generations will judge our current efforts on sustainability?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
What would a grocery store look like if it eliminated all packaging, and how would that change the way you shop?
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
How differently would you live if you relied solely on renewable energy sources?
@9J7K4J41yr1Y
Nuclear energy is the way to go, but not too much differently
@9J7HJX8Progressive1yr1Y
i dont think id live that differently, and even if i did, it would be worth it to preserve the earth for my family and my children.
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
@ISIDEWITH1yr1Y
