Covered in High School and as presented as a theory / part of a greater curriculum focused on discrimination as it occurs globally across cultures. Everyone has the capacity to be racist / discriminatory regardless of your race, orientation, or beliefs. The topic should be aimed at addressing the underlying biases that created the current situation (so it can be fixed) and not at exasperating the situation by reinforcing "us" and "them" dynamics in our society. We are 1 people of diverse backgrounds, what caused what we are experiencing today and how can we fix it without perpetuating the problem?
