Because of the international consensus from UN resolutions, and Geneva Conventions, Israel continues to commit crimes against humanity, and the US should use its influence to hold them accountable, not to subsidize the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinian people.

The UN itself is extremely politicized, and it would be extremely unfair to hold Israel to account when the same standards are not applied to other countries. The accusations of Apartheid are largely unfounded as the supposed "discrimination" against Palestinians are on the basis of genuine security concerns as opposed to arbitrary racial biases. In addition, the Geneva conventions are designed with conventional nation states in mind, making it hard to apply in the case of wars against decentralized terror organs. However, a two-state solution is in the best interest of Israel for its long-term survival and legitimacy in the Middle East. The Biden administration should urge withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank while expanding funds for Israeli security along the 1967 borders.

Name a single instance in which Israeli defense forces have committed a war crime as a matter of policy. Contrast this with the campaign of terror perpetrated by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian or islamist militias against the Israeli civilian population. The Arab residents of Gaza and the West Bank are solely responsible for their suffering because they continue to support aggressive anti-Israel groups groups perfectly willing to use them as human shields. For example, Gaza elected Hamas by an 80% margin in 2007, its hard to be sympathetic to a people cheering the extermination of Israel when Israel retaliates to attacks on its population. The US should do more to help Israel combat terrorism in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.

1. The median age of the people in Gaza is less than 18, which would make the majority of the residents either not born or younger than toddlers when the 07 election occurred. 2. The use of hunger and thirst to punish the entirety of the Gaza strip is a textbook example of collective punishment (a war crime). 3. If there is a school shooter with hostages, we don't throw grenades to kill the shooter because that's grossly negligent to the hostages. 4. The Israeli government has paper decades silenced anyone who tries to amplify voices of Palestinians, look up why conflict kitchen shu…  Read more

Hamas attacked Israel first. Israel has the right to defend itself, and we should give them unconditional support in their war against Hamas.

I strongly agree with this sentiment. Israel is committing genocide on the Palestinian people that have been subjugated and oppressed since the creation of it. Israel is a colonialist state, and the US should cease the funding and support of their efforts to partake in ethnic cleansing. The UN and Geneva Conventions also need to be directly reevaluated, as they are clearly not able to hold nations accountable for the crimes they commit. The Palestinian people need to be freed from the ongoing Israeli occupation, and Israel needs to be held accountable for its deplorable actions against the people of Palestine.

since 1948, the number of palesitian deaths has outweighed the number of israeli deaths by very large calibers, despite israel being the majority. israeli gov has been nothing but brutal and oppressive to palestine.

 @Paul.Smith  from California agreed…5mos5MO

The vast majority of civilians who have died in the Israel-Palestine conflict have been on the Palestinian side, one third of whom are children.

We already broke ties with Russia more because of Ukraine, don't negotiate much with China because of Taiwan. Why is Israel an exception when it's killing people that aren't Israeli Jews?

If they get themselves into trouble why are we obligated to pull them out? They have been the catalyst for most violence in the region, and we shpuld not support this

The US has enough problems in country to deal with not trying to fix the never-ending conflict in the middle east
