You believe in promoting social justice, human dignity, and democratic values rooted in Christian ethics to create a harmonious and equitable society.
Christian Democracy is a political ideology that emerged in the 19th and 20th centuries, primarily in Europe and Latin America. It seeks to apply Christian principles to public policy. Its origins can be traced back to the social teachings of the Catholic Church, particularly as articulated in Pope Leo XIII's encyclical "Rerum Novarum" in 1891, which addressed the conditions of the working classes and introduced the concept of social justice.
Christian Democracy is characterized by its commitment to social market principles and qualified interventionism. It advocates…

How do you approach understanding and respecting beliefs that are vastly different from your own?
@9HPSJRC10mos10MO
I believe that you should always respect other people's beliefs no matter if they disagree with you
@Patriot-#1776Constitution2mos2MO
I only respect people's beliefs if they are true. If they are not, I try to persuade them otherwise.
@9HPSJZS10mos10MO
i dont care if you believe something else just dont push it on me
@9HPSKFM10mos10MO
I think everyone has a right to freedom of religion
@9SV2HC5 1mo1MO
Beliefs are a natural right, as long as your belief doesn't hurt others it should always be respected and protected.
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
How would you balance compassion and practicality when crafting laws that affect vulnerable populations?
@9JGYBMD 9mos9MO
The seperation of church and state have been a cornerstone for the american people since the begining of the country. In the beggining the founding fathers kept them seperate but used christianity to guide their Ideals and this worked for a long time. With the introduction of Atheism this values have declined along with other things in the country getting better. The combination of running a christian country using atheism values will not work. The combination of running a atheist country using christian values will not work. The country needs to be guided as an Atheist group or as a Christian group but leading them as both is deystroying the country.
@Patriot-#1776Constitution2mos2MO
Separation of church and state is a lie
@9JGXNNF9mos9MO
I think that we should not use this because we should be able to choose what we want based on popular majority
@9JH2ZQ49mos9MO
No one person can force their religion onto others. What you believe may not be what someone else believes, therefore your laws have to be fair and by the constitution. No one person can please all, but there is a clear distinction in a law that favors one side or the other.
@ISIDEWITH8mos8MO
Can you describe an instance where treating someone with respect changed the outcome of a difficult conversation?
@9KPJP65Women’s Equality7mos7MO
Treating someone with respect can shift their attitude towards you.
@Drew-DoehringRepublican 7mos7MO
By treating others with respect, they will be more willing to have an open-dialogue with you on matters of importance of which you may disagree.
@9KPJZBR7mos7MO
Treating someone with respect would cause less arguments because it would confuse their minds and make them be quite
@9KPJNSCPeace and Freedom7mos7MO
it showed me what they thought of the conversation
@ISIDEWITH11mos11MO
Can Christian Democracy reconcile its conservative moral stances with progressive social justice goals?
@9H4Z8DD11mos11MO
Religious groups have allows been able to make slight adjustment to their believes to allow progression with the times to fit with their religious groups. Thus Christian Democracy can reconcile with progressive social justice.
@9H4ZSGL11mos11MO
No, conservative values cannot reconcile with progressive values. The morally superior values are progressive ones which seek to improve the current status of the world. Religious texts cannot be the basis of governance as they can be interpreted by members of the same faith differently. In addition, it is impossible to logically choose one religious interpretation to follow. There is no logical case for the Torah vs the Bhagavad Gita, the Bible vs the Quran, etc.
@9H4ZNYHProgressive11mos11MO
no, christianity does not have conservative moral values. Jesus was a social activist. the people who believe are the people who take the bible literally which they should not because it it not the word of God yet Jesus' deciples. the conservative teachings the we should "leave each other alone" is not a Christian belief. Christianity teaches about community.
@ISIDEWITH10mos10MO
When have you seen a compromise work effectively to resolve a dispute involving ethics and fairness?
@9HPSJY510mos10MO
When people come together to decide to whether or not to do something.
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
What does the term 'ethical governance' mean to you, and how can it be applied in everyday leadership?
@9HTG5D99mos9MO
Christian democracy more like Christian fundimencracy
@9HTFWHX9mos9MO
I believe that the government shouldn’t be able to decide what’s moral and what’s not, but rather have that jurisdiction up to fields within the country, such as doctors being able to be for abortion from a strictly medical standpoint.
@ISIDEWITH11mos11MO
Do you think incorporating Christian ethics into politics compromises or upholds the separation of church and state?
@9HCVVFF11mos11MO
It does nither, the vast majority of our laws are based off of Christian values; whether or not you call it Christian democracy.
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
In what ways can individuals foster a culture of respect and dignity in their daily interactions?
@9JRHCSDRepublican8mos8MO
Having mutual respect and understanding for eachother
@9JRH4SL8mos8MO
Treat people with more respect and stop having biases against people.
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
What personal experiences have shaped your perspectives on giving and receiving help within your community?
@9JHDCGF9mos9MO
Acting like a good person builds everyone up and non misguided Christian values does that.
@9JHDFM3Libertarian9mos9MO
Unconstitutional 1st amendment bill of rights free religion
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
How does your personal definition of what it means to be a good citizen influence your political opinions?
@9JHF3MNLibertarian9mos9MO
100%. How can these be separated? A good citizen is honest, humble, self-reliant, protective, measured in speech and, above all, does not infringe on the rights of others.
@9JHDXBD9mos9MO
Well I was raised one way, so I don't really know how to think other ways.
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
Have you ever had to defend a belief that was unpopular, and what did you learn from it?
@ISIDEWITH10mos10MO
Can you think of a time when your personal values clashed with a policy decision, and how did you reconcile the two?
@9HPSJY510mos10MO
People sometimes will put their personal values before everyone else's.
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
How do you perceive the importance of trust in the relationships between citizens and their government?
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
What action can we take as individuals when we see social inequalities in our daily environments?
@9L8P6WV6mos6MO
The idea of a christian democracy is a social inequality in and of itself. Many people practice many different religions. To enforce christian ideologies, in which most of them aren't related to modern times or even well-being isn't a good idea. We should always advocate for each other's individuality, because that's where all human rights stem from.
@9L8JL666mos6MO
Acknowledge that Christian Democracy is a real problem and listen to other people's voices, especially of those who have experienced social inequalities.
