You believe in promoting individual freedom, social justice, and equal opportunity for all citizens through government intervention and regulation.
Social Liberalism is a political ideology that advocates for a balance between individual liberty and social justice. It emphasizes the belief that governments should play a role in addressing economic and social issues, such as poverty and inequality, while also protecting civil liberties and individual rights. Social liberals believe in a mixed economy, where both the private sector and the state have important roles to play.
The roots of social liberalism can be traced back to the Age of Enlightenment in the 18th century, when philosophers such as John Locke and Jean-Jacques Rousse…

How have your views on welfare and government support evolved over time?
@9KC2Q4D8mos8MO
Gov needs to be there but only in limited amounts. Not any more than it needs to be but needed when liberties are violated
@9KCWN9S8mos8MO
Welfare and government support should be evolving more to help the people of the United States of America.
@9KC338T8mos8MO
I don't completely agree with social liberalism. I think that people need the government in their lives because the government is used to make sure our country is stable and that the right decisions are made, without it we can't trust people with those decisions.
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
What would you do if you saw someone being excluded from a group or activity due to their background?
@JcawolfsonIndependent 7mos7MO
In principle, it is rude to exclude someone based on their background. However, what constitutes background? Rejection based on mere identity is inherently wrong. But, certain past yet extreme actions, such as murder perhaps, would constitute valid rejection.
@9KYTT537mos7MO
First of all, that is unfair and needs to be changed. I would hope I would reach out to that person.
@9KYVB4Z7mos7MO
I would form an argument for the person to be allowed into the group
@9KYVDVR7mos7MO
You should not judge someone based off of their past decisions now you don't have to be crazy and ignore it but I mean you can judge them and excluded them from things just because of a mistake they made earlier in life.
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
In what ways has your community shaped your perspective on collective responsibility?
@ISIDEWITH10mos10MO
How does it impact you to know that in some places, healthcare is not guaranteed as a right?
@9HMFRMG10mos10MO
It shouldn't be different in other parts of the U.S.
@9HMFF4W10mos10MO
Healthcare isn't even guaranteed here, the healthcare industry is for profit, not for the people, or else the Church of Scientology would've been abolished a long time ago and many other issues would be solved.
@9HMFZ2M10mos10MO
Knowing that low income households are not offered or not knowing how to register for free healthcare is concerning to me. It is almost as if they are being denied of their health.
@9HMFB7510mos10MO
It makes me slightly concerned, however it is fine as long as I can access it somehow.
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
Have you ever changed your mind about a social issue after hearing someone else's personal story?
@9L4QNZXRepublican7mos7MO
No, I stand by what I believe and majority of the time it is very hard to change my mind.
@9L4QHHX7mos7MO
I Believe the government shouldn't have a say in economy, but should be able to create a safe and equal world for everyone.
It depends, I have changed my mind on issues after hearing other sides of the story. So yeah I guess
@ISIDEWITH8mos8MO
What are your thoughts on the relationship between taxes and the quality of public services?
@9KBS8TD8mos8MO
I think we should all pay our fair share. And use the taxes to provide basic necessities such as insurance and healthcare as well as food and housing to those who can't afford it or for all.
@9KBRX7NRepublican8mos8MO
Its ok i feel like we do got a good amount of services for all sorts of things
@9KBS3Y58mos8MO
I think that taxes should be used to create better quality of life for everyone, not just those who live in higher tax brackets.
@ISIDEWITH11mos11MO
Does a truly just society require government intervention, or can it be achieved through individual actions alone?
@9HCQ5WW 11mos11MO
I believe that it can be achieved through both. We need some government assistance in order to anything, but we are capable on doing things on our own after a little boost from our governments.
@9HCVQD711mos11MO

@ISIDEWITH11mos11MO
Can we have true freedom if some people are living in poverty, lacking education or healthcare?
@9H962M411mos11MO
If people are not supported with the fundamentals that are needed for the basic quality of life, I believe that true freedom is not equally given to everyone.
@9H95WR511mos11MO
No, if anyone is living in those conditions, they are not free. Which means that as long as those exist, true freedom cannot exist.
@9H95XMX11mos11MO
Yes, there are plenty of opportunities for these people living in poverty
@9H96Q8W11mos11MO
I do believe we can because the government should be in charge of giving these people a chance to better their lives because everyone has the exact same opportunity to fulfill the American dream.
@ISIDEWITH10mos10MO
How should society balance the needs of the vulnerable with the rights of the individual?
@9HMGN2T 10mos10MO
I do not think this is liberal vs conservative. This is compassion vs allowing suffering.
@9HMGN7N10mos10MO
Stop giving certain advantages to specific races and genders.
@9HMGKB610mos10MO
i think that some aid should be given but not enough to allow them to live off of it which would make them work and actually contribute
@ISIDEWITH10mos10MO
What's the most compelling argument you've heard against social liberalism, and what's your take on it?
@9HMG98Z10mos10MO
Once again I don't know? All I've heard is blue hair, pronouns, and Brian Griffin. None of those really seem like anything really convincing me against them.
@9HMG9F610mos10MO
Hamas. I believe it's evil what they're doing, but this has been going on and on and now allow of a sudden the government wants to push for it to create a, "panic."
@9HMGWHJ10mos10MO
that it is just wanna-be communism and i dont have a stance
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
How would you feel if a social program made a significant difference in the life of someone you care about?
@9J2QG54Peace and Freedom9mos9MO
depending on if it is a good or bad change i would have diffrent emotions
@ISIDEWITH9mos9MO
How important is it for governments to address climate change as part of social responsibility?
@9JBMMMB9mos9MO
It's important to address climate change because it could affect humanity in the long run.
@9JBLL7SConstitution9mos9MO
The majority of experts concur that governments, not merely private citizens or companies, are essential to the fight against climate change.
@9JB47W5Libertarian9mos9MO
The people in government themselves need to cut down on fossil fuels and carbon emission's
