How would the world change if everyone made one environmentally conscious decision each day?

 @9JDKPHXanswered…1yr1Y

The world would change for the better if everyone made the same environmental decision to improve our environment.

 @9JFML7Z from Michigan  disagreed…1yr1Y

Each person, even collectively, makes little to no impact on the global environment. Also, no one can agree on how to save it, so who are we to all follow?

 @9JDKH6N from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

climate change would greatly slow, although most likely not stop because it is unlikely that big corporations will stop using things like fossil fuels until they are dismantled.

 @9JDWZ57 from Arizona  disagreed…1yr1Y

Make the companies responsible for causing these issues in the first place. This is corporate propaganda to make you think you are responsible for pollution when they are.

 @9JDKGWP from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

The world would change greatly and we could work towards making a more environmental-aware society.

 @9JDKL5S from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

The world would be cleaner and it would help reduce the amount of greenhouse gas released.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

When you think about nature, what aspect do you feel most connected to and why does it matter to you?

 @9JH3M42Independent from California  answered…1yr1Y

Pollution. Polluting the air, the ocean, and our planet in general is not only slowly killing plants and animals, but us too.

 @9JL22H8 from Indiana  agreed…1yr1Y

Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, CO2 production has increased dramatically, and we have seen the extinction or endangerment of many species since.

 @9JH47P2 from California  answered…1yr1Y

I think that pollution is a big aspect that most people aren't connected enough with as it is a global epidemic that is slowly killing us

 @9JH5W49 from Kentucky  answered…1yr1Y

because nature is what’s helping us live and keep our energy going, helping us get our money by trees. Helps us do things that we would even live.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…1yr1Y

How do personal values play a role in the choices you make that affect the environment?

 @9J2DS5X from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

Each piece of trash adds to the huge pile that just grows and grows. Even if you think it doesn't matter that much it all adds up.

 @9J2BC9J from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

 @9J2F4LK  from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

Depending on how you treat the environment which may inadvertently affect others, it could play a role in how you may feel as a person. Like if you throw trash on the side of a beautiful flower patch, you could think of yourself as a bad person and other people could see this trash and feel bad about what this society has become. What are we, animals?

 @9J2BNLB from Utah  answered…1yr1Y

I don't understand this one that much, but I will just say that I think that people should be able to do their own thing. That's what this country is for.

Can a small group of committed individuals significantly change environmental outcomes and how?

 @9J2BPX4Green from Iowa  answered…1yr1Y

 @9J29QL7 from Ohio  answered…1yr1Y

I'm not sure. If they are trying to physically help the environment then no I don't think its possible. They might be able to change laws that relate to the environment but that's it the only way I think is possible.

 @9J2B5CK from California  answered…1yr1Y

No, global warming can not be changed from a small group and is inevitable.

Imagine you have the power to enact a single policy to protect the environment; what would it be and why?

 @9HNX9XL  from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

A rapid response task force should be created to identify individuals & organizations most responsible for environmental degradation. These individuals should be taken into custody, tried for crimes against humanity, their assets and expropriated and their organizations placed in the hands of the workers. This task force would then be put in charge of overhauling the bloated DoD, holding individual leadership accountable for decisions that have negatively affected the environment. After dealing with the worst environmental offenders in the history of the world they will form an organizat…  Read more

How would our consumption habits change if the true environmental cost was included in prices?

 @9KCBQFNanswered…1yr1Y

It would cause a lot of harm to the economy based on how expensive clean energy is to get and continue to manage.

 @9KBPV7R from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

If things went more green, it would cause more issues than what we currently have. For example; when it comes to vehicles, producing electric cars uses power plants and uses more nuclear power and does just as much if not, more harm to the environment.

I think that green liberalism is another way for the democratic party to step on our god given rights especially when it comes to owning cars or materials that could pollute the us. The idea that climate change is real is a politcal spiff and only meant to capture the votes of tree huggers.

How would your ideal job help contribute to a sustainable environment, and what steps are needed to get there?

 @9L7FH8C  from California  answered…1yr1Y

My preferred job is in architecture. There are literal thousands of ways to use the built environment around us to create a sustainable environment, our barriers to this issue is just 1. The not normalized parts of architecture are not good, and we need to be willing to challenge those beliefs and 2. We need architects who are good at communicating, to show clients that certain design choices aren’t always expensive.

How do changes in the environment affect your outlook on the future?

 @9JDTD2R  from Minnesota  answered…1yr1Y

My outlook for the future is positive if we continue our research and development towards climate change and manmade environmental issues. If we do more research and come up with more environmentally friendly products and do more to prevent the loss of animal lives and habitat, I'd say more people and animals would have a much greater outlook on life. If we continue to ignore these signs of habit destruction and climate change, the future for Earth and the living things upon it will be in jeopardy.

 @9JDSVYH from California  answered…1yr1Y

I would hope that science proves to everyone that climate change is undeniable, and won't stop until we do something about it.
