Yes, but they shouldn't be deported immediately. They should be offered to start the process of obtaining a citizenship, then after that face the issue of the crime's.

I believe illegal immigrants who have lived and worked in America for a long period of time should not be deported but rather granted citizenship.

No, just treat them the same way you would if it were me, a native citizen, with a fair trial in a language they can understand.

Not for traffic or other minor crimes but for theft, burglary violent crime etc.
