In January 2017, President Trump issued an executive order that would withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities. In April 2017 a federal judge ruled that Trump’s order was unconstitutional.

All illegal immigrants that aren't committing violent, sexual, or felonious crimes should receive government help to become citizens and cities should be encouraged to help those people become citizens. Give cities extra funding to increase the likelihood that cities will help the people.
