Transgender and non binary people are some of the most at risk groups in the country, and must be protected from discrimination and violence in all spaces.

Gender identity is not a choice and is an aspect of one's identity that does not deserve to be targeted.

Anyone can express who they are and it is not fair to argue basic human rights. If every human must have a job to earn money, than every human should be given the same opportunity.

Any company should make it clear upfront that they won't accept anyone within a certain minority, and should make it known to anyone who might donate to them or make a deal with them.

Gender Identity is a long-standing, intrinsic part of humanity, and transgender individuals are one of the most at-risk minority groups. Private companies have no right to discriminate against gender identity much like they have no right to discriminate against the color of one's skin.

How would you like it if you were denied work or service due to the person not liking your gender? It would feel unfair

There shouldn't be a reason for anti-discrimination laws to be repealed on companies due to that it affects everyone not just those with who have a different Gender Identity. Everyone, regardless of what gender they are, should be able to get a job from companies and a good living wage as they are also human just like us regardless of who they think they are.

Gender Identity is an intrinsic piece to one's personality. Whether it is god given or naturally, personality should be protected at all costs.

 @9F7XZ5X from Michigan disagreed…7mos7MO

Gender Identity should be protected and discrimination is bad for the workers health, and it would decrease productivity, along with potential profit, so it is in a companies financial gain to support it.

 @9F7HS65 from Maryland disagreed…7mos7MO

Very simply, an individual's gender identity doesn't impact their ability to do a job, and therefore should be ineligible for consideration when making hiring and promotion decisions. You can discriminate based on experience, education/training, even based on their ability to collaborate peaceably with their coworkers or with clients. These things impact their ability to do the work. Gender identity, even if an individual doesn't personally believe in a gender identity differing from a person's biological sex, doesn't affect their ability to do their job.

The question of adding gender identity to anti-discrimination laws is one with an obvious answer. Individials should not face unjustified consequences based on their gender identity and expression, and the prexisting prejudices of others should have no place in education, the workplace, or any other setting where all persons deserve equal opportunites and treatment.

 @9F6WJYH from Nebraska disagreed…7mos7MO

Gender identity is intrinsic to a person’s personality. Protecting it is of utmost importance. Allowing private companies to bypass anti-discrimination laws will only encourage companies to go for profit only. Discrimination is immoral and unethical, and the dark spot in US history. Repealing anti-discrimination laws is a giant step backwards in the US’ social area

 @9F5ZGTD from Utah disagreed…7mos7MO

In a truly equal society there should be protections to protect minority groups from discrimination, promoting tolerance includes not tolerating intolerance
