The fact that people follow Islam and identify as Muslim should not forbid them from being able to enter the country. Anyone of any religion could be a terrorist so it is irrational and unfair for Muslims to be singled out and excluded.
@9FV8MQ96mos6MO
I fully agree with this statement because signaling and banning anyone from entering the nation for the sole reason of "potential" terrorism, is a crime against humanity and the choice that comes with freedom of religion.
@9G2T95NRepublican6mos6MO
Terrorist attacks can be executed by any individual, from any background internationally and domestically. Because of this, banning a religion becomes a bad precedent. Folks should be banned on an individual basis.
@9FMXSGV6mos6MO
Terrorists are not muslims, they are not based nor are muslims. Being labeled as a muslim does not mean decrease the position of muslim immigrants
@9FMXVFK6mos6MO
Anyone who chooses that option had better hold true to this belief when it comes to right-wing groups such as the Proud Boys, because right-wing terror is far more prevalent in this nation than Islamist terror.
@9FMRSM56mos6MO
Terrorists are not solely Muslim, for a start. Most Muslims are also in associated with the extremist group that is attacking the USA, and restricting or decreasing the Muslim immigration rate could directly relate to more deaths of Muslim peoples.
@9G2HK4FPeace and Freedom6mos6MO
What if the Muslim person, is a ordinary above beyond helping person, they do kind deeds, and have legally obatained the right to come to the US. Why should they not be given the chance to immigarate just because they are Muslim. America is said to be the land of dreams, banning specific races until further notice is unconstitutional and goes against what America stands for.
screens on muslim citizens shouldnt be done since most terrorism in america is done by explicitly christian white people, so such policies are obviously discriminatory
