Hauria augmentar la despesa pública en el transport públic?
I wouldn't say that hierarchy "leads to oligarchy", I would argue that hierarchy IS oligarchy. Any…
Representative democracy is simply oligarchy disguised as a democracy, under the guise of freely choosing your own oligarchs.
I would argue that most of the current complexities of governance are largely the result of our current political and economic bureaucracies, not necessarily any kind of inherent problem of societies itself. Also, not every citizen needs to have a say on every little decision in the world, only in the decisions that apply to you or whatever "group" you are in, because you're right, it would be impractical for every person to have to make decisions on things that have nothing to do with them.
A government should BE the public, otherwise the government is simply a private authority over the public.
I think efficiency can come from public planning better than any "representatives" could, as that would be the ideal combination of efficiency and for-public decision-making, especially with our further advancements in informational technology and AI and whatnot. Further privatizing power is simply not a better alternative.
