“We should be allowed to have our own choices of insurance NOT run by the govt. However, since people and their employers have already paid into the medicare system, this money must be returned (with interest) to those who paid into it. Govt does NOT belong in the health care system. Canada's system is not good either, nor is the system in England. I have talked with recipients in both systems and they said it is a tiered approach. Those with money to pay for "Good" care can get good care. Those without $ get mediocre or poor care.”
