“The Medicare program is a valuable program but is rift with abuses and rules/policies that are outdated. I am retired. When I retired I had health insurance which included doctors, hospitals and drug plan. Why was it necessary for me to make Medicare my Primary health care and my health care that continued into retirement became secondary retirement? There is no rational reason that the government needed to spend money and force me to take Medicare. I could have continued to keep my own health care (which I have to pay for in retirement) and saved the government money for medicare coverage. Forcing people to take a service which requires the government to spend money does not sound fiscally prudent to me.”
