“No, it is proven that in areas where there is the most severe gun control measures, there is more crime i.e. Chicago and New York. When cities do this, they are taking guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens and allow criminals the chance to have guns and use them without having any consequence or fear of being countered with a gun being pointed back at them. Just look at America's "War on Drugs." Even though drugs are highly criminalized, people still find a way to use them.

Further, the real problem behind all of these shoots is prescription pills. Every school shooting or mass murderer was prescribed some form of prescription pill. Prescription pills kill more people than auto accidents and illicit drugs in the U.S. Ranges vary from 35,000 - 100,000 people annually. This is where the problem lies. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.”
