“Ideally, a developed country should not kill people as a punishment; however, I believe the experience of detention (jail/prison) should not be one in which people who have taken others' lives have any but the barest essentials to avoid being treated in a cruel and unusual manner. This does not include access to TV, education, large amounts of social interaction, and any forms of entertainment.”
