Question 4 will legalize the possession and consumption of marijuana by adults over the age of 21. Adults will be able to possess up to 10 ounces of marijuana and grow up to 6 plants in their homes. Marijuana sold under the act would be subject to a 10% sales tax. Proponents of the proposition include former Governor Bill Weld and Representative Marjorie Decker. Opponents include Governor Charlie Barker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
