Many election observers have put former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty as the frontrunner for Mitt Romney’s choices for Vice President. We took our election quiz as Tim Pawlenty and found that he sided 94% with Mitt Romney (See their results). Here are the issues Romney and Pawlenty disagree on:
Is Global Warming a threat to the environment?
Romney: YES: “I think it's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and the global warming that you're seeing."
Pawlenty: NO: "The weight of the evidence is that most of it, maybe all of it, is because of natural causes."
Should the federal government subsidize U.S. farmers?
Romney: YES: "Governor Romney believes that investing in agriculture is key to our economy and families."
Pawlenty: NO: “We need to phase out subsidies across all sources of energy and all industries, including ethanol. We simply can’t afford them anymore.”
Do you support the theory of Evolution?
Romney: YES: “And I believe evolution is most likely the process he used to create the human body.”
Pawlenty: ALL THEORIES SHOULD BE TAUGHT: “There should be room in the curriculum for study of intelligent design.”
What do you think of Tim Pawlenty?
I tend to agree with Tim Pawlenty of these particular issues.
Ross Kohlman
Considering that Neither Governor answered the Global Warming Question Romney just gave the soft party line and Pawlenty the hard. I do agree with the views of Gov Pawlenty on subsidizes An I don't aghree with Intellegent Choise because of Church and State Issues I think thwe Tim Pawlenty would majke a very good Vice demigouge candidte.

The real question is how you managed to pick definite positions for Romney.
Vis Subra
I am impressed by his views.

Intelligent Design isn't a theory, it's a supernatural view that has little to no scientific ground that many scientists view as pseudoscience. Even if it was it is a religious idea, teach that privately don't teach religion at public school. Bad Pawlenty, bad.
Luis Moreno
I think TPaws would be a good choice, but when it comes to teaching of Evolution it should be removed from schools. I mean no matter how you slice it Creation and Evolution are both religious views and neither should be taught in public schools, that's why there are private schools.
Patrick Fagan
Patrick, in what way is evolution a religious view? Evolution is completely based in science. You may not subscribe to it, but it is in no way a "religious view".
John Madden
I don't think evolution is a religious view ;P
Nikole Alexis BeGole
It takes a whale of a lot more faith that Everything came by Accident from Nothing than to believe there is a design behind All that makes our world. Where are the millions of fossils showing macro neo-Darwinistic evolution from an ooze? How do functions that only work in their entirety become working via evolution? How did everything evolve in the few millions years between earth creation and the earliest discovered fossils? Darwinism is the only 'religion' that atheists can cling to since their hypothesis doesn't hold up to practical scientific evaluation. I think I will hang with the developers of scientific thought over some narcissist sucking on a tenure teat.
